hi all,
i make sculpties in maya from nurbs sphere or in 3dsmax/ac3d with poly. but i never can do a sculptie well cutted. if i don't close the object it creates a backface to close it.
i saw a well cuted objet one time in sl, without bakcface. does anyone know how to do that ? thanks.

Otherwise you'd just see through the back, so the back plane is added. To do it, you have to essentially make it two half spheres, one inside the other, I believe

To accomplish this particular feat, you need to insert a small script into the object after it's formed - changing the object's basic nature from PRIM_SCULPT_TYPE_SPHERE to some other form (in your case, I think you want a "plane" type: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/PRIM_TYPE_SCULPT
