Second Life is getting to be a pretty large place – in terms of size and complexity we may not talking about New York City, but it’s not exactly Mayberry either. It’s becoming more and more difficult to stay informed about the growth and development of the Second Life world around you – where are the newest clubs, what are fashions du jour, and what’s going on in those parts of the world you just don’t get to very often?
Introducing A New Generation of Resident Information Service
A new information booth in the Welcome Area will offer Residents directories (in the form of dispensed Notecards) of businesses in Second Life, organized by commerce category. Collect the whole set and you’ll have your finger on the pulse of Second Life’s vibrant retail community.
If accessing this much information seems intimidating, in just a few days you’ll be able to pick up the very first issue of Second Life Consumer Reports - to help you make informed decisions before spending your hard-earned Linden Dollars.
