My GF is building a house. In it all the wall prims are white with a stucco texture. All other texture settings are off, no shininess or no full bright or anyting. Some prims will be real light some will be dark. Some will be purple when sun sets or rises. It's very extreme and nothing like it should be. Its making picking things like wallpaper very hard. We even tried closing the house so no sun should be able to get in. Does anyone have a way to not have the sun in the sim effect the interior walls?

Hiya!,
You can try adding some phantom transparent prim lights to the areas you feel should be lit at all times.

Which client are you using? Some have worse effects than others when the light is at certain angles.
There is no way to "shut out sunlight" in Sl. It goes right through all prims. We don't have prims that can block light or cast real shadows.
