Yeaster day when i log on to play Second Life,Then i went to the SandBox area and try to build some thing.Then i got out my building tools and i notice when i try clicking on the select a shape and then i click on it and it won't work can any one help me pleas.

Just saying "it won't work" is pretty vague. What exactly is happening?
What should happen is when you open the building tool, and select a prim shape, your cursor should turn into a magic wand, indicating you're now ready to create a prim. Click on the ground, or on an existing object, and your new prim should appear where you click.
So, what part of that process specifically is not working?

At the moment things are very, very (really very) laggy. Means, when trying to let your standard plywood box pop into existence, it may do so with 10 minutes delay or more. There's two tiny colored bars (usually of a friendly green color) in the upper right corner. If one of those bars is very high and angrily red, you can pretty much forget about building, scripting or hoping that your hair and shoes will rez sometimes within this century. Poe might have said: The community is growing and much packet loss is showing when camping chair money is flowing. Things are worse now than before: The newbies see they can't keep playing due to all the lag delaying What they really find dismaying and abandon our shore; We might see them nevermore. But we have 1 million accounts  Hurray. |
