COMMERCE CAFE: A Question about Vendors

I think we should have a forum called "Commerce Cafe" for questions that shop-owners might want to ask each other or issues they want to discuss.

So everytime I have one, I will preface the heading with the words, "Commerce Cafe".

Here's my question today:

I have won a small section in the Luna Mall lottery. This is 16 meters, and that probably means something like 3 prims.

Anyway, I have never used a vendor. If I get a vendor, and stick all my houses and things in it, will the vendor itself just take up - say, three prims?

I'm trying to figure out how to show more than 3 items in boxes in the Luna Mall. Ideally, I would be able to have a vendor PLUS a sign of at least one prim.

Any suggestions, advice? How to do?

Hey Coco, you might be able to use a holo vendor to show mini versions of your item. I believe there are increased prim limits in Luna, but not sure about that. But about your original question: If you put your houses in a 3 prim vendor, then yes, the vendor will stay 3 prims no matter how much you put in it. If you have a main store, you might think about putting a landmark in an information notecard about the houses. Or a landmark giver that give the LM when someone clicks it (If you need a script that does this, IM me). Hope this helps! :D
