From: Frodo Hartunian one part I wanna know is about copying a texture from one prim to the next without having to reslect etc etc... To make it easier to match the texture properties of one prim to the next. 1. Select the new plywood prim. 2. Hold down shift, and shift select the prim that has the texture you want to match from. 3. Notice that in the texture tab of the building panel, the texture preview has 'multiple' written on it. This texture preview will always show the texture of the last prim selected. 4. You can then click this and quickly select the same texture again from the inventory without needing to drill down the inventory or use the search to look for it. You can also click through the other attributes to match them and this saves you time rekeying them in. This also works with matching individual faces.

My answer is already obsoleted by the new texture dropper tool!
