This is a cross-post with something I posted in the Classifieds forum. I'm hoping that's OK because my idea is directly mainly at builders, I don't think end customers will have any use for it. If not, moderators please feel free to delete this. Basically, I've developed an automated movement script that looks very realistic, and is completely non-physics. The target use for this would be a vehicle (or vehicles) looping on a path around a sim, like a sightseeing tour or a ferry/shuttle service. The path is defined simply by placing marker objects around the sim, and the markers can be moved at any time without needing to reset the vehicle. And since there are no prim count restrictions, the vehicle can be as elaborate as you want. I think this opens up possibilities for builders that TTBOMK haven't really existed before. Here's the link: /invalid_link.htmlFeel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions.

Well, I had expected that the only people interested in this would be professional builders, but I've had some questions from people who want it to build something for themselves. So for personal use, I'll sell a no-copy version of the scripts for 2500.

This seems to work the same way the Eclipse / Le Cadre train does As a side-note I'm currently perfecting a non-physical vehicle set of scripts that work very nicely. Right now it has fixed speeds for turning / flying, but I hope to make it accelerate / decelerate easily soon. If anyone is interested I'll send a copy of the beta set.

Hm. I went over and looked around, but I guess the train's been temporarily disabled. That's a shame, I'd love to see another implementation of a similar idea

OK, there's a demo up and running on one of Sam Portocarrero's properties (thanks a lot, Sam ). I'm not sure how much longer we'll leave it up, so if you're curious about this, go take a look before it gets taken down. Poliahu 014 (110,100) I've set up a track that the 'shuttle' follows that demonstrates the different effects you can achieve by placing the markers creatively. The track has sections that show the vehicle: * Following a road, including elevation changes * Navigating an obstacle course * Stopping at different destinations with different wait durations Feel free to hop on the shuttle and take a ride around the course.

I would be interested in a script that can make a large prim count vehicle move...I am creating a sailboat that has an extremely high prim count...
