Waterfall / Grotto / Cave Building Items?

I am looking to build a small waterfall with a small grotto/cave behind it on my island. I have looked at a LOT of the caves/grottos out there and on slexchange but most are too large.... so, I figured why not just build one.

What I'm looking for is realistic looking sculptie rocks that can be resized and modified so I can build cave walls and ceiling.

I would also like a semi-realistic looking waterfall kit... something that looks like more than just moving texture on a prim. It almost seems like water particles looks better.

Any tips? Anyone done this on their SIMs and have any hints on where to go for the goods?

THanks!

I picked up some rocks and waterfall kits from MenuBar Memorial - great stuff. I've used them in several spots in The Botanical Gardens.

There is a 3D program called "sculptypaint". It is not exactly user friendly, but very nice for making stones. There is a special "Stone tool" - start out with either a sphere or cube. Flatten it using "scale x min" - then press "randomize a lot" - it now looks like rubbish. Then do "smooth sculpt" - et voila, you have a rock - make 10 different :-)

Remember to move them out of the directory where they are created, or they will be overridden next time you try.

Reg. water - it helps a lot to let the water flow over uneven surfaces. You might even place two layers of water on by placing two prims with different uneven surfaces slightly offset each other, so one layer of water can be seen through the other, and one layer breaking up through the other - perhaps running at slightly different speed.

SL is down for the moment, so I cannot send you some landmarks where it is done very nicely. Good Luck!!
