Strange problems with lighting

I've been working on making a jewelry set, and have enountered a strange problem. It's already scripted with tested, well-working color/texture change scripts, but, when I went to add a glowing option, I encountered some oddness.

Although the scripts appear to be functioning fine, the light does not appear to be rendering correctly. As a specific example, I had added the glow scripts sucessfully to one of the prims in a necklace. When I added it to a prim in an earring, only one glow or the other would agree to be visible, but, the scripts are clearly working anyway. By removing whichever piece was currently displaying a glow, the other would then appear. It also would appear in edit-mode, when the glowing prim was selected. Even when the glowing wasn't visible, and examination of the prim would show the setting and selected glow color to be both accurate and in effect. But, only one glow at a time is visible.

I'm completely stumped here. The issue doesn't appear to be the scripts, which are link-message based, controlled by chat. Seeing as how all the other aspects work properly, and each piece glows fine alone, the only thing I can think of is that I've met a hard-coded obstacle.

If anyone has any insight on this matter, it would be very much appreciated! Thanks =).

try taking the item back and rezing it again, this kind of things happen sometimes when you ad or remove a script from an object.

I think I've found the answer =) It appears that the amount of other local lights in the area was interfering, there being a maximum that can be rendered simultaneously. . . at least, so far, so good once they got turned off.
