No 1/8 Path cut Ring Shape

This is driving me nuts. I'm trying to create a 1/8 path cut ring. i.e B = 0.0, E = 0.125.

E keeps popping to 0.130, even if I set it using llSetPrimitiveParams(). I REALLY need it to set to 0.125.

Any particular reason SL doesn't want me to set this value?

Can't do it, neither profile nor path cuts will go to 1/8 for the torus, tube or ring. I think it's to do with the very small number of bits assigned to the cut values. The client may let you type in those numbers, but the data for that prim that gets sent to the server always rounds it.

There are a number of projects I started on but abandoned when I realised they needed a 1/8 cut.

Find another way around it or give up, sorry.
