I have been invited to redecorate a room in SL, the owner has given me all permissions to edit her objects. I am wearing the correct tag for her group. Yet all her items do not respond to edit, with all the info on screen greyed out. I need to be able to move her objects around to complete the work.
I have not seen this problem before: almost all items i click 'edit' elsewhere give me their info, including maker and owner. Is this a temporary SL glitch, or am i meeting an unusual Sim security system problem here please?
This happened on Monday night, we decided to ask in the forums: all advice welcome!

Thank you, but I don't know where i would find the 'only select my objects' button? Is it in Preferences?

Hurrah! Problem solved! Thanks to Eyerocker and Chosen, you are absolutely correct!
No idea why i had checked "only select my objects" but at least that is not a mistake I shall make again!
