Best way to learn is to just start doing it. Set up in a sandbox and when you get stuck shout for help (only shout when you've tried for a bit first tho)

Go to the Ivory Tower of Primitives it walks you through an excellent hands on tutorial on how to build
You should be able to use find tool to get there

Hey try going to the Ivory Tower of Primatives. It is free and is a wonderful tutorial for the building basics. I learned a lot there. Also, under the "find" menu for places, type in words like tutorial, teach, or look under the events and put it in catagory of education and go to some of those classes that are offered. They are free and fantastic.
