I must have missed reading about that those bubbles that appear when you edit objects.
I don't like'em, is there a setting to turn those dag'gum bubbles off?

Do you mean the light spheres? Or something else? If it is those, then in the 'tools' menu up top, you can deselct the 'Show Light radius" option... if it's not that, I'm not sure what it is you mean

Maybe the bubbles show up because I have group abilities to return items on a parcel?
Yet they don't show up on all players items I select, only certain ones but always on mine.
I get pink and blue bubbles on some objects owned by others, always white on my objects.

I get pink and blue bubbles on some objects owned by others, always white on my objects. What do you mean by "bubbles"? There are lots of different things that could fit that description. Do you mean the beam of particles that streams from your hand to a selected object? To turn that off, uncheck Show Selection Beam in the Tools menu. If it's something else, please post a screenshot so we can identify it.
