I've read a lot about how flexi prims can cause lag - mainly complaints about FPs in hair.... But during a discussion with a pretty talented builder, I was told that the whole "flexi" effect is done client side.... So what's the truth here? note: Sorry for the double post!! I blame it all on the dreaded 503 Error!!!!!!!!!!

The term "lag" as applied to online games really means "delay between server and client," but it's quite common for players to confuse server lag with client slowness. Lots of flexis will slow down the frame rate on your computer, but won't have any more effect on the sim/server than any regular prim would. So, technically, flexi prims do not cause lag, but they can cause performance issues if your computer sucks.
