I am really wanting to make a snow globe for Christmas and I was wondering if anyone knew how to go about doing that.

make a globe by creating the base and the "globe" (basic building) then use particles for the "snow" would be how I would do it
(put whatever scene you want inside the globe of course)
I thought about doing these too but never got around to it

COuld also just do an animated texture or 2...
One would be a more complex, with the background staying the same and snow falling over it
Using 2 prims for it you could have one as the background and one as the falling snow...
I'm guessing it'sd more effective since everyone would see it, even with particles turned off. But it probably wouldn't look as good.
