some of us talked once about conducting a sim wide event such as an open house or treasure hunt. is anybody still interested in the idea? or should i rez a really big rock to bury it under?
some ideas i have are:
market day with booths all over open house (tours & period costumes) ourdoor theatre (act a couple of shakespearean scenes) scavenger hunt (non-linear) treasure hunt (point to point)
the first two would not require that all the tourists attend at once which would alleviate event lag. the third could have repeat performances through the day/weekend as well. the theatre idea really intrests me; but i don't reate animations yet so i'd have to stick to costuming and acting.

thanks. we have to solve the lag problem first. our fps and time dilation are consistently way too low. i suspect that it's the network adapter circuitry on our blade. monday i'll start trying to contact somebody at ll that will talk to me about it.
i'm also investigating the costs of getting to san fransisco if it comes to that. we're paying for better service than we're getting. in any case, we can't invite people into the sim and expect them to have a good time unless we're hosting a best manican impersonation event.

Great ideas Khamon! For the moment tho Johnathan Marten is off and running! He has scheduled three (yes 3!!) of his popular events in Taber.
"Who Wants to be a Lindenaire" on Sunday at 1pm, and his "History Trivia" is scheduled for Tuesday at 8pm and Thursday at 10pm.
I think I will bring back my "Jeopardy" to Taber also starting this Monday night at 8:30pm
All to be held in Taber Mews Park which is right next to Fate Manor.
