Tonight I'd like to consider to what extent SL is a model of the virtual universe we call "RL".
The kind of thing I have in mind is stuff like: Is our universe like SL? Can we draw allegories from SL to help us understand how "reality" functions? What kind of a view of "reality" would that be anyway?
What kind of impact does such thinking have on our view of God? Is "RL" just God's "SL"? Would using SL as an allegory to support or deny theism strengthen or weaken an argument?
Pop on your thinking cap, or borrow someone else's, and come over to the Jinnyhaus with your thoughts. IM me for a TP if you can't be bothered to fly over and use the teleporter in the shop.
