"Socrates Cafe" is both an excelent book/intro to Philosophy by Christopher Philips, a real-life wandering socratic and a type of event in which the participants engage in philisophic dialogues based on the Socratic methood of asking questions (some details are at http://www.philosopher.org/soccaf.html but reading the book will give a much clearer picture).
I think it would be a good thing for the Thinkers to try...and I'd take the liberty of offering the Montmartre Cafe as a meeting place. (I'll stop just short of offering to host one myself, but I wouldn't be unwilling if time permits me.)
Thoughts?
