I'd like to say that Thinkers' is the main reason I stay in SL. This group is exactly what I was looking for in an online community! So, thank you, Jinny, for starting the group. Also, thanks to all the members with whom I've had some great discussions! I'm proud to say I've been a member since the beginning! Thanks, friends! -Losenger

I'd also totally like to thank everyone, especially Losenger and the other meeting-running prefects, for their support so far. Thinkers is in the top 20 SL groups, we have well over 100 members, and as far as I remember have now been thinking for about three months.
Forums like this that invite discussion on philosophical and religious topics normally end up dead because of the competition from the established forums where people like to shout at each other a lot. Those forums tend to be run by people who are peddling their agenda one way or another.
What we have here is a chance to discuss these topics in a much more rarefied environment in which we are all here because we like to Think, rather than argue.

The Thinkers Group is the only reason why I'm still in SL... period.
Let me add to Los' thanks. Sorry I can't make more evenings.

It's been awhile since I've attended a meeting. The last was with that wonderful professor (I can't recall his name or school). I too enjoy the group and would like to participate in some forum discussions!
