I have a missile that launches straigt up into the sky..after 3seconds flight it rezzes a 1 prim payload. After 10seconds the payload then rezzez 20 small parachutes....NOT!!
Sometimes i get one chute...sometimes i get 3 most of the time i get none.
Any ideas?

i would probably say it's lag. how big are the chutes? how detailed/3d do you want them to look? you may be able to get away with using textured particles for that part

If the missile is moving it's possible that the rez distance is too far from the object... since this is calculated in global coordinates -- thus the rez fails silently...

I believe there is also a limit to the number of objects that can be rezzed in this manner in a given time period.

I was trying to rez the new objects too far away: Silently fails to rez inventory if pos is more than 10 meters away. Works now
