Range Limits?

Hi all,

Did a quick search but could not find anything on this so ...

I know that the sensor functions have a radius range of 96m ... and that to cover more I would need multiple sensors or to chain them some way.

What I wanted to know was if the eject and teleportHome functions had any range limit. i.e. Code to manage the ejection/teleport is in a central system .. outlying systems report in who they detect and the central system makes the choice to eject or teleport them.

Along those same lines ... what about giving a dialog to the detected AV advising them they need to leave. The system would not be listening for a response, but I figure a dialog advise (like many of the systems on the market) jumps out at an AV more than an IM would. But again .. what is the range the AV could be from the system base and still see the dialog.

Thanks!

According to LSL wiki: "llDialog will only work if the user identified by id is in the same region or if they have been to that region and left but have not yet logged out."

As far as I'm aware, llEjectFromLand and llTeleportAgentHome will work anywhere in the region too.

Thanks! On the llDialog I had nto checked .. for some reason I just assumesd that it was chat distance .. but now see that no matter where the AV is as long it complys with the regions rule will both be able to send the dialog to and hear the answer back.
