hi...im new to scripting and have no idea how to do what im trying to do...but here it is

i have built a robot that i want to walk and follow its owner i also have a mounted gun on this robot and i want it to be able to fire at a target specified by its owner and be able to damage the target in combat zones

i also want this robot to have a heath meter for combat zone, so it can be destroyed...

ive been reading up on scripts and have also be looking for some scripts in SL but havent found what im looking for.....can someone help

You've chosen some complicated stuff for your first attempts at scripting. Might want to start out with something a bit simpler and work your way up to this more complex project.

You can search the forums for a follow script that might help you get you robot to follow you around. You might also search for a product called Puppeteer that allows you to animate prims.

ive tryed the follow script...but the mech i built is 53 prims so it doesnt work with the current follow script..i think the one i was using has a limit somewere around 30...yeah...i thought i give a try to something different being as i cant find and working droids or mechs
in SL..i figured i could make some good money...but i guess i got some work ahead of me
