LSL access to Events that have been set to 'Notify'

Does anyone know if it's possible to programatically access "Events" (not LSL events, but events found via the Search panel) that I've set to "Notify?"

If not, does anyone know if it's possible to programatically search events from within LSL code?

As an aside, it would be very cool if Notifications were implemented as objects in people's inventory, similar maybe to Greeting Cards, so that they were a little more concrete, could be handed out, distributed, given by objects, have different notification options, etc...

Clarify, please? What are you wanting to DO with them?

Yes, someone does know. It is not currently possible.

Hmm, that does sound interesting. Post it in Feature Suggestions?

I had a hair-brained idea to sync up events and notifications with iCal. The events part could be easy (outside of SL) by html-scraping secondlife.com's event.php page. It's the notification part that would be neat.

If you're going to scrape the events from outside SL, as you said... pretty easy. Why not have your Notification origionate from outside SL as well?

You can do Email or XML-RPC to your object in-world that then sends the notification to you or makes an alarm, etc.
