Hello, i'm trying to make a gun that emits a stream of particles towards im looking (croshair in mouselook) but i'm only able to get it to emit horizontally, it doesnt adapt when i look upwards or downwards as the gun itself doesnt rotate with the look. can anybody help me how to get the particles to emit properly as stream wherever im looking at?

I think you'll have to rez an object to do it. Even the avatar's head doesn't tilt completely in the direction of mouselook, so an attachment on the eyes or other head attach position might get closer, but still won't do exactly what you want. If, on the other hand, you rez a prim and set its rotation such that it emits particles in the direction given by llRot2Fwd(llGetRot()) (at least that's what the direction would be in the attachment) it should work.
You could also possibly attach an object to the pelvis and try to rotate it on the attach point to match the avatar's mouselook orientation. Might take some playing, and I don't know if that's what you want in terms of the attach point/point of emission.
