So I made a little sit script and tweaked it for the seat of my starfighter. Worked beautifully. The I built the fuselage and canopy around it and linked it with the seat last selected. When I try to "sit here" the sim crashes.
Um, help? Could I have too many prims linked together? The canopy/ship is rather complex.
CORRECTION
It is NOT crashing the sim but it IS causing me to lose my server connection. I can still stream music and SL is not frozen but I can't move, my ping jumps off the chart and my bandwidth flatlines.

I'd suggest that you might have twisted torii in your space craft or spirals or corkscrews, or in an attachment, like hair? This seems like a level of detail problem.

Im assuming the vehicle is physical.
There are many reports of sim crashes when a torus in a rather odd configuration has physics enabled. This certainly may be it. Some more details would be appreciated.
