ok I have read through many of the rotation threads in here. I even thought I understood
rotations enough to do anything that needed to be done with them.

but....

I am taking a standard arror from the bow and arrow kit. I would like to stream particles
to the back of the arrow. meaning... No matter which direction I shoot the arrow the particles will always fly behind it.

Seemed simple, until I worked on it for 2 days changeing everything I could think of.

The Wiki page is great but I must be loosing something along the way as I have failed time and time again

Any help would be appreciated

there are ways to do that, but perhaps the simplest way to get that effect would be to have the particles not move and the arrow leave a trail behind. another easy alternative if that isn't the effect you want would be to add a prim to the back, put your particle script in it, point it so it sprays particles the correct direction and make the extra prim invisible.

if that dosent make sense or you want more help feel free to IM me inworld :-)

Yes, use particle type DROP, when the arrow moves it will leave a trail.
