Hi there,
Is there a way when giving inventory to obtain the key of the item given. The item given is a copy and my understanding (if im correct) is it will obtain a new key. Or is my best way to wait until to object is rezzed in world (not my ideal way) and return the key via an inbuilt script?

My understanding is that the object given won't get a UUID until it is rezzed. So I believe your second choice is what you are left with. Have it communicate its UUID from its on_rez event as you imply.
