Yet, another SL n00b here.

I'm trying to understand the world of what's possible in SL API/Scripting. From the brief research that I've done, it looks like SL is designed for a lot of inbound interfaces. Such as showing streaming video, RSS feeds, etc. in-game. In terms of the outbound interfaces, the only thing I've seen is that you can report on avatar position via XML. Is there a resource somewhere that I can find out more if there are outbound interfaces for reporting on events that occur in-game, out-game?

Fanks,

pi Mip.

You could also investigate libSecondLife, and the open source client.
