How can you remove friction from an object? I want to create a marble run type thing, but the marble keeps stopping at the first turn. Any way to either reduce friction or make it continuiously turn/roll?

One might try overwhelming the effects of friction by creating a super-massive object and placing it within your marble.

Note that groups of prims presumably retain the net mass and 'energy' of their child prims ( source: http://secondlife.com/badgeo/wakka.php?wakka=energy )

Thus with some manipulation, inertial effects of the marble would far exceed friction effects.

I do not know for certain, but I pray that prim - prim gravitational effects are not implemented. Or if so, I can only hope that the grid is properly backed up.

Just in case one of your marble experiments accidentally sucks the rest of the grid beyond its event horizon.

if I remember correctly being made of Material Type glass helps. Cant get inworld right now but someone had a marble machine setup in Burning Life. It was next to Weedy Herbst's giant radio and I think they shared a plot so ask Weedy who was next door.
