screenshots from an object

I've looked around for an answer to this question for a while now and come up with nothing so far...

Could a script be made that would take screen shots from the view of an object? What I would like to do is have some sort of camera object set up somewhere and take a screen shot of the same area every 10 minutes, then email the pictures to me. Is such a think possible?

If you want a camera that could take pictures even if you were disconnected, such a thing is not possible.

Your only chance would be a modified client. What would you need it for anyway? Maybe there is another solution without screenshots.
