XML Dummy :(

Hi! I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where I could go to learn how to use XML in SL properly? I went to Gwyneth Llewelyn's web page (http://secondlife.game-host.org/article10visual1layout1.html) where she explains how to make a simple online indicator, but I'm suuuuch a newbie that I can't figure out how to do it right. I'm guessing I'm not putting the right info in my web page.. it just escapes me. If anyone would please point me in the right direction as to how to learn about this, let me know. Thanks

What background are you comming from? Inorder to do XML-RPC you both need to have an understanding of LSL and some other programming language to handle the other end of the connection. If you have another particular programming language that you will be driving the backend with it would help people know where to point you towards. If you don't know any other programming langauges, probably the first step would be to learn them before trying to pass data between two languages. There are many choices as far as that goes, and I am sure myself and others can offer our (biased) opinions of which to use.
