Last year for a inworld convention, I had created an object that people could click on and leave a message for me. We had it out by our Phreak booth in case it was in the evening or a time when one of us wasn't there. My inventory seems to have lost it :\

Does anyone have a copy of this script and if so, would it be possible to drop in on me inworld? Thanks so much!

How did you receive the message? in email or through IM? either way it is still VERY easy to make.

Is that it?
CODE

// Inventory Drop, Dora Gustafson 2008

default
{
state_entry()
{
llAllowInventoryDrop(TRUE);
}

changed(integer change)
{
if(change & ( CHANGED_ALLOWED_DROP )) // only 'strangers' can do it
{
llWhisper( PUBLIC_CHANNEL, "Thank You!");
llInstantMessage(llGetOwner(),"has recieved an item" ); // inform me
}
}
}

Happy scripting

oh hell, lol i see a grief ability coming on with that. allowing anyone to drop something into your prim, means they can drop scripts too right? any way to change what they can drop into it? ie, only notecards, objects, clothing layers, or etc

Nope. llAllowInventoryDrop() does not allow scripts to be dropped. See http://www.lslwiki.net/lslwiki/wakka.php?wakka=llAllowInventoryDrop

well that's good, was just browsing last night and figured i'd comment on it, good to know, i wonder though, if it can detect what is being dropped and remove it if it's not the script or a notecard.
