is there any way to deed an object to a group in an on_rez fuction?

From: Inferniel Solvang is there any way to deed an object to a group in an on_rez fuction? The only way that I can think of is if the object that's doing the rezzing is deeded to a group, then anything that it rezzes will probably be deeded to the group. Haven't tried it tho.
