I'm trying to find out if there is a script or indeed one that can be created for the following.

I want to stop certain people from buying one of my creations. I know you can get scripts for accessing people through doors and so forth. Is there sort of the opposit to that bit like banning someone from your land.

But instead when I set something for sale to but a ban script in there to stop someone buying but allowing anyone else to do so.

Might be a headache or food for thought.

Oh and please do not ask me why I want to do this as I am sorry you will not get any answer lols.

I assume you are using some kind of vendor to sell your product? If so (and if you can modify the vendor script) it would require adding only a couple of lines of code to do what you want. If you're using the "For Sale" option on the General tab I'm not sure if it can be done.

When that certain people are near you can hide your stuff inside another prim so nobody can touch it. You can vary the strength by looking at
1. Certain people within sensor reach ( up to 96m )
2. Certain people in the SIM
3. Certain people on line
You can also reverse it so that anybody except certain people can remove the protecting prim by clicking on it...
Happy scripting:)
PS! The protecting prim may be semi transparent, but if it is totally clear I guess it will be 'clicked through' and offer no protection!

Yes I was using the For Sale option in the General tab. But I do have a vendor as well but will have to check to see if I can get into the scripts

This would make it difficult to touch, but not impossible. Remember, cameras in SL obey no physical laws, so physical barriers are meaningless. Anywhere a camera can go can be touched.

You may well see the object inside a shielding semitransparent prim but when you try to touch the object, you will touch the shield instead... or am I wrong?:( Could you enter a prim with the camera and touch what is inside?
I just tried to touch something inside a prim by first entering the camera. It can be done:(... it may be hard but still... forget what I said

You can't keep people selectively from paying money to a vendor, but you can choose in the event logic to pay the money back rather than deliver a product or service.
