I'm looking for a script to make a door go up and out, the slide in and back. I've got it going up and out, but not the sliding in and back part.

the maths are rather simple to calculate i could write a script for that but sindce it would require a timer it wouldn't be suitable to use on a laggy server. no problem offcoarse if you do this on a private sim. if you really badly need this, IM me inworld. I'll make it for a small tip  |

I suggest making your door out of a 95% hollow cube, with the path cut beginning at 0.75 and ending at 1.0. Then a simple rotation (llSetRot or the like) gives you pretty much the motion you need.
