The EDIT window seems to rotate a linked set around the set's "center." Is this type of "global" rotation available in a script? So far, I've only been able to rotate around the root prim or the child prims relative to the root, but not the whole linkset.

Thanks!

rotation scripts effect the prim that they are in ... soo if theres no prim in the center its not gonna rotate in the center, try making a tiny prim (invisible) dead center make it the parent :)

This function can be used in a script in a linkset child, in which case the child will rotate locally around its own center, or in a linkset's root, in which case the entire linkset will rotate around the root's origin.
