Flexi and Particles

I'm currently working with a flexi object (kind of new to them as I just came back to SL) and I'm trying to get a particle to follow the tip of it as it moves around. Is this possible? I keep having issues with the particles being generated but being nowhere near the tip of the object as it sways and shift. Quite frustrating...

Unfortunately, do you realize the flexi bit is a client side effect? Everyone's viewer will see the flexi in a different position and moving at a different speed! :)

I'm not sure how it affects it, but the flexi slider in preferences might change how they appear too?

So sadly, there is no way to match things to the moving end of a flexi prim...

Yah.. I was thinking about that... and now figured out a completely different way of doing what I planned on doing >.< but thank you anyways.

Just a thought... didn't try this, but it might work:

What about adding (linking) a separate prim to the tip of the flexi, which produces the particles?

No such luck :( You can link prims to the floppy end of a flexi, but they will stay put and not respond to the flex.
