In the absence of some sort of text entry dialog box, i have a dialog box with instructions for the user to type in a response in the chat box. That's all fine so far, but I would like for the instructions box to close either after they type in their response or even just after a time out.

Any ideas?

Well, Christmas is coming, you could always put that on your list....

Dialogs are run at the client end, once opened they are out of script control.

They'll have to click the OK button (or Ignore) to clear it. Your job is to ignore them sayong Ok on your dialog channel :)
