Timed beta testers?

I was thinking of making timed beta test of my products.
My question is will a timed event wrap over/ Example I take out the product
its out for 30 mins of the allowed 60 I then put it away and take it back out agian.
Will the time continue or will it start over?
Im sure if its in a on rez or something similar it would just start over.
How do you go about making timed systems that remember the last rezed timed?

My understanding is if you don't llResetScript(), the state is saved. If I'm wrong, no doubt 100 people will correct me. But isn't this something that just screams, "try me and see what I do!"

Scripts usually maintain their state. If you want to be absolutely paranoid, run a short timer and continuously save the value to one of the object's properties, like, say, name, description, color, alpha...
