I have the boat totally done. When I go to put the script in the seat...and i click on the seat to "ride". The only option is sit. I have unlinked and linked...trying every which way...making the seat link first...last..etc. The seat is fine as long as its not linked to the rest of the boat. Soon as I link it..i loose the "ride" option. In testing I made a plain square prim...put the script in...it worked fine. Soon as I linked it to the rest of the boat..same thing happens. I know it's prolly me doing something wrong..I have no idea what tho. Thank You in advance for any input.

But someone who can script their way out of a paper bag wiill be along to help shortly ![]() _____________________

Lessee:
As Zapoteth said, the seat must be the "root" or "parent" prim, selected last in the link. After linking, select the boat and, under the "Tools" menu, select "Recompile scripts in selection". If it still isn't behaving, then remove all the scripts, and shift-drag to make a copy of the boat, delete the original (the one that got moved) and re-install the scripts. Sometimes prims get... wierd. A fresh copy often fixes that. Hope that helps. _____________________
