I'm having some problems with a script.. I'm trying to have an object move to a person, and then rez an object that's physics around them.
I would like to know if there's any way to tell a prim that it's intersecting another prim, so that you can move it up and turn physics once it stops intersecting?

use a sensor to detect the avatar use llDetectedPos() to find the position of the avatar use llSetStatus() to control weather it's physical or not use a collision event to detect when one object collides with another
I have no clue what you mean by 'physics around it', so I can't help you there.

My guess is this would be some sort of cage gun from the description in which case they are all to readily available in world.
