Hi, I made a sailboat using Cory Lindens open source boat script. Everything worked great. Then I decided to change the sails to a flexable sail. Only when I linked it all back up, it doesn't work anymore :(
I still have the working copy of course but it sure would be fun to have flexi sails hehe.
Any ideas why it doesn't work? I was careful to link it back up the same way and all ....hmmm
thanks for listening and any help is appreciated.

With love,
Eanya (beginner script tinkerer)

Flexiprims require that the object be phantom. And the boat requires physics. Phantom objects do not react to physics. So, the flexiprims are the problem. Change them back to normal prims and see if it works again.

As mentioned above above put the sails back the way they were -

But make them invisible ( llSetAlpha(0,ALL_SIDES) )

Now add flexiprim sails ( visible )

That way the physics will work and you can play with something to alter the flexi's depending on wind direction etc

Thank you for the explanations so far. I'm not sure I follow you Adriana. I will try it IM you in game some time.
Do you mean have two sets of sails?
