Owner Online Indicator - Yes, I am a Newb!

My brain is full and I am quickly realizing that I lack some of the skill needed to really get started with scripting. I did some of the very basic scripts... like changing welcome messages and touch scripts. And by using what others used, made a script for my mailbox.. but now I'm trying to make an "owner online" script with hovering text. I've found a couple of scripts in game but they all have particles and glowing lights and I don't know yet how to delete out the correct code to get rid of the lights... I don't want a glowing green ball or little blue particle lights. Anyway, do any of you know where I can find either a tutorial for the owner online script or where I could find a copy? I tried doing searches here on the forum but many of them focused on keeping track of visitors or communications or other stuff... all I want is the hovering text that says when I'm on or off

I know this is a simple question for you folks, but I've been staring at script stuff all evening and it's not making sense anymore!
