Hi,

I am a beginner to second life. Sorry for such a Naive question.

I am not able to figure out how would I create a box object in second life and put it for sale in Linden dollars.

Thanks

Karthik,

You would be best advised to attend inworld classes or tutorials on creating content. No scripting is required to do what you describe.

I can also only assume that you are planning to put something interesting inside the boxes, as nobody will want to buy plywood cubes ;)

However, if you really want to make a box, check to be sure that you are in an area where building is permitted (i.e. be sure that there isn't a little "no boxes" icon at the top of your screen), then right click on the ground and select "Create." You'll have a default box instantly. As Yumi says, though, everyone can do that so you'll have a hard time selling it. ;)

I made an awesome house out of that, but I had to buy 300 of them.

What's even funnier is that someone has posted a review and 29 people found it useful :)

Its a scam.

I wonder if they actually paid L$28700 to gain that insight :)

Can anyone tell me how to reply to a thread in this forum?!?

I strongly suspect that the OP was a joke to find out how long this thread will get.
