any way to set up inventory drop that only the owner can use, and not everyone?

Someone with modify permission can drop inventory into an object; it will trigger a CHANGED_INVENTORY instead of CHANGED_ALLOWED_DROP event. I'm not sure it's possible to grant *only* the owner *only* inventory permission without general mod perms, if that's what's intended. |

Unless it is no-mod, the owner can already drop stuff in an object.
Is your object no-mod?

the object is moddable, just a simple pictureframe. i was wondering if it was possible to allow only the owner to just drag-and-drop pictures onto it and have it go to the prim's 'contents' without opening up the edit window... just didn't wanna allow anyone to do so.

Just to make sure: To drop textures or another object into an object's Inventory (instead of texturing it or rezzing that other object on top of it), one uses Control-Drag, not just Drag.
