Are there any tools that I can use to write scripts (ok - I know there's TextPad and so on) but also more importantly test scripts without logging in to SL?
Thanks.

I'm looking to learn LSL, but really need an offline script editor - so I can learn at work and look busy

Just seen a post on this very topic - "lslint - offline code checker for LSL"
Now can anyone recommend some good teachers? |

Yeah.. the in world classes don't seem very helpful. I've been to a few, but I don't feel like I've really learned anything. Most the stuff I know it's from messing around with other peoples scripts.

Best bet will be to find a Scripting Mentor.
Also check out the Scripting Teachers section. You should also check out the syntax files that have been generated for a variety of editors such as Scite-Ez and Notepad++. |
