Hi,
Anyone know of a script available for adding these to a Jacuzzi, I've seen lots of the items about but can't find a source for the scripts. Ideally bubbles and steam could be controlled seperately from some form of console or buttons. Would be happy to pay for them, as long as I can resell my items when they contain the scripts.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but could you possibly send me the tub scripts, too, please? Am going to try building a jacuzzi later, and I think I'm OK with the modelling - it's going to be the scripts that kill me! Thanks in advance, if you can!  |

 Steam and bubbles are usually generated by a "particle script". The general idea is that you spurt out copies of something (water drop, bubble, butterfly, sparkler, swastika, ..., whatever.) The script has variables that determine how many, how often, how far, float or sink, blow with wind, and so on. Change the variables and change the thing spurted, and you get the many, many different effects possible with a particle script. So, search for Particle Script, try a few experiements, and you will never need to ask this question again. Good luck. |

The basic LSL code templates for this particle effect already exists in your Inventory
Two particle mist scripts are supplied by LLab in the standard 'Library' folders. Search your Inv for 'Waterfall Mist' and 'Waterfall Particle System'. These are working templates, you may need to adjust parameters to obtain the precise desired effect. See http://rpgstats.com/wiki/index.php?title=LlParticleSystem for an (admittedly technical) explanation of the parameters, but its also kinda fun just altering parameter values and seeing what difference it makes to the particle effect. From these scripts it is a relatively straightforward job to create just about most "jacuzzi bubble and steam" effects you're likely to want |
