Hi all, I have an elevator that uses llMoveToTarget. I remember a long time ago, someone did something that slowed the elevator down, so you don't get thrown into the ceiling as it stops, or into the ceiling when it starts it's decent. Can anyone help me, I can't seem to find the info anymore, and I never updated my script when I saw it.
Thanks a ton, Ingie
llMoveToTarget (vector target, float float tau)
Would a large tau (over the suggested 0.2 slow down the elevator?? I'll have to try when I get home... Maybe that's what I'm goofing up??
Thanks again, Ingie

Yup, you're right, a larger tau means that the damped motion will take longer to complete, therefore making the elevator slower. ==Chris
