I just upgraded the items in my multi item vendor. Once I reset it and started flipping through to check it, everything that is supposed to be there is plus 6 extra items that can't be found? I have looked at the notecard over and over, but it is right. I recounted all the items over and over, but that is right. I skimmed the script, but didn't see anything wrong there either. I didn't change the script to begin with and it worked great before.
Has anyone ever seen this? I really don't know what is causing it.
Help?

Howdy.
I have had a similar problem. But only to the degree of 1 extra unfound item. I realized the problem I had was I was using a carriage return (hit enter key) after my last listed item in the notecard.
This is wrong for some reason. You must make sure you don't have any invisible carriage returns in the notecard after your last line of info.
Do this. Click anywhere in the notecard to get your type cursor. Hit Control-End (assuming you're using a PC?), your cursor should move. If it ends up way down the page (say six lines?), then just use backspace until your cursor is at the very last letter of the last line of item info in your notecard.
If this isn't the case, and everything is otherwise normal (cursor blinks at last line of info - no further), and it still doesn't work... There might be another problem. Which I don't know the solution to.
Give this a try. Hope it works.
Later, Omen

Wow that fixed it. Thank you so much. I wouldn't have figured that out on my own...LOL. I really do appreciate it.

I ran across this problem last night and discovered Omen's solution on my own, but only after about forty-five minutes of frustrated notecard editing. I was planning to add a note to the LSL Wiki about it anyhow, because it's an important point that isn't documented. I just added such a note to the LibraryVendor page on the Wiki, including Omen's excellent instructions for finding and removing excess whitespace at the end of a notecard. Thanks for the explicit set of steps, Omen; that adds a great deal of user-friendliness to the note I added. Hopefully, this helps the next new scripter who comes along.

Alex: Thanks mate Happy to have returned some helpfulness to someone on here when I've been on the receiving end of so much great help and advice myself. Chandra: You're quite welcome. Glad to hear you've added info about this to the wiki, and am flattered you included my steps in it. Thank you!
