I use Crimson Editor (www.crimsoneditor.com) for all my offline LSL scripting needs, so I made some syntax specification files for it.

If you grab the attached zip file, and copy it to your C: drive (or wherever you have your 'Program Files' folder), and unzip it using path names, they should end up in the right spot. If it doesn't, put them in the following sub-folders of the Crimson Editor folder:

extension.lsl -> link
lsl.spc -> spec
lsl.key -> spec

Let me know if you have any issues...

Either I am being totally thick, Firefox is hiding it or the attachment link is gone ?

Could someone please let me know where i can grab the syntax file from that Jon kindly posted ?

I have cataracts and the in-game editor is totally unusable for me.

To hijack slightly is there a way to change the colours SL uses for the editor, notecard reader etc ? I would love to set them to be green on black if its possible ?

**EDIT** Oops my mistake i found the file on the crimson site :) Would love an answer too the colour change question tho :)

*EDIT #2** I discovered colors.xml :) Actually got the text input fields in log in and prefs screens to go to my preferred colours. Isn't SL downtime a great time for learning LOL.

I just browsed to the syntax files by going to the www.crimsoneditor.com site, then clicking on the 'syntax files' button and putting "lsl" into the search.

however direct linking breaks every time...

Newest version is 1.10.0 which is much better than nothing for those of us who are friends with crimson already :)

Added to the alternate editors page of the LSL Wiki. If you find/make a newer syntax file, please feel free to add it.
